South Charlotte Stunner
This beautiful home is a perfect example of “right-sizing” done right!
After becoming empty nesters, these clients moved into a new home on a large parcel of land south of Charlotte. They wanted essential spaces on the main floor and plenty of space for entertaining. Importantly, they wanted this new home to have a softer, more streamlined look and feel than their previous home.
She has a thing for wallpaper, so we selected several patterns to include in their rooms, including Schumaker’s Brighton Pavilion for the powder room, which acted as the inspiration for the color palette throughout the home.
We mixed a few sentimental pieces the couple already owned into the design. By reupholstering the soft pieces with fresh fabrics and incorporating lighter-hued accents, we created an updated feeling and modern contrast with the antiques’ richly stained woods.
The result is a stylish home that looks layered and just lived-in enough to feel warm and welcoming!
