In the heart of the Old Cotswold neighborhood in Charlotte, NC, our clients built this lovely home on a lot they’d owned for years.
Once they were ready to start making their dream home a reality, they hired us to work together with their architect and builder right from the start to ensure the final results were seamlessly in line with what they wanted.
We had fun designing around beautiful architectural details like exposed beams and imaginative ceiling details. We helped to select all the major finished and fixtures before breaking ground, then moved on to furnish the main floor in a mix of neutrals and soothing, spa-like hues.
The wife is an avid cook, and so we designed a true “cook’s kitchen”. They both love to entertain be it intimate dinner parties or large crowds, so we designed the overall flow and seating to be flexible and comfortable for any occasion.
