we hold your hand
Our clients tell us they love our helpful ideas, smooth processes, and clear communication just as often as they tell us they love the spaces we create for them. That means a lot to us because we believe the process of getting there should be as exceptional for you as the results we create in your home.
Here’s our process in a nutshell:
You reach out to us through our contact form and we’ll schedule a time to chat with you.
After our call, we meet on-site for an Initial Consultation where we learn about you and your goals for your project. If we agree on a path forward, we’ll give you a detailed proposal for how we can take care of you from there.
As we work with you to handle your project, we’ll create a design scheme for you, complete with design boards and space plans, general specifications for construction finishes and fixtures, lighting plans, etc.
We’ll oversee the entire design process, including ordering everything you need and holding it all in our warehouse until “the big reveal” on install day.
On installation day, we deliver it all to your home, place it according to our carefully crafted plans, and style everything to look picture perfect.
Then we bring you in to see your new spaces and enjoy all the excitement!
WTI is exceptional! They are professional, energetic, kind and transparent. What has been most enjoyable about the experience is the fact that they listen and are willing to have a conversation with me as their client. As a customer, interior decorating is now an accessible process, rather than one shrouded in mystery that only the professional can handle.

hadley quisenberry
owner + principal designer
With an impressive background in fashion, Hadley Quisenberry joined the company in 2012, making West Trade a sought-after mother/daughter design team.
After studying fashion merchandising at the University of South Carolina, Hadley went on to a design-focused program at the Fashion Institute in Paris. From there, she landed an internship at Vogue Magazine where she worked under the tutelage of fashion icon, André Leon Talley. After building a successful career in sales management with large brands such as Theory and Sam Edelman, Hadley and her husband decided to relocate to the South to raise their family and to allow Hadley to pursue a new career in interior design alongside her mom, Lisa.
In addition to her fashion sense and fresh take on style, Hadley brought a deep understanding of systems and processes to WTI. And because she spent her childhood “watching Mom work her magic” and had absorbed the principles of good design in the spaces Lisa created, they quickly formed a symbiotic approach to designing together, and she continued to learn from Lisa's lifetime of experience.
Hadley and Lisa’s partnership blended that lifetime of experience with a fresh design perspective, and fostered a company-wide culture that values quality design work, superior client service, and put functional family living at the forefront.
Today, Hadley and her team handle multi-room and whole-house design-build projects in Charlotte, NC and throughout the Southeast. Their specialty is creating energizing spaces for busy clients who value connecting and recharging in their homes with a hallmark of balancing your personal style with relevant yet classic design that will stand the test of time.
From sentimental treasures to new furnishings that feature the highest quality materials and construction, WTI makes your dream living spaces come to life with inspired ideas that make practical sense.

Growing up in nearby Greenville, SC, she was drawn to colorful, creative details from early childhood. Before finding a home at West Trade Interiors, Julie spent time honing her skills at both a commercial architectural firm and a residential design studio. Today, you’ll find Julie on our job sites with a tape measure in hand or behind the computer working her magic on project layouts and renderings. Julie says, “I love employing my eye for detail and my creative skills at such a fun, friendly firm as WTI,” and we’re happy to have her, as well!

Lisa Britt
Founder
West Trade Interiors was born in 1988 when Lisa Britt began designing beautiful spaces for family-oriented clients who wanted a greater sense of joy from living in their homes.
Lisa discovered her love for interiors during college in South Carolina while working part-time in a design firm. She honed her innate skills in spatial planning and seamlessly blending old and new by renovating and redecorating each of six personal homes as her husband’s career moved the family throughout the Southeast. In each new city, Lisa picked up a loyal client following and built her design business on her warmth, her integrity, and her ability to bring a sophisticated brand of Southern charm to the spaces she designed.
After a storied thirty-five year career, Lisa decided to retire from the day-to-day to spend more time traveling and soaking in friends and family. Once a designer always a designer, so she's never too far away and remains on speed dial for troubleshooting tricky details or brainstorming one-of-a-kind solutions.
